Amun Amulet

Currently not on display

Pale blue glazed faience of a male figure with a ram's head. The horns curl in towards the face which suggest this is a representation of the god Amun. Broken at the waist and both arms are msising. Fine technique. Purchased from John Garstang in 1949 with the provenance recorded as "purchased in Luxor".
