Animal Harness / Crupper

A horse crupper (a leather strap that fits under the horse's tail). The straps are made from brown leather with a green edging, they are bound with brass. The two straps are bound together with a large cloisonne disc and the length of the straps are covered with a variety of smaller cloisonne discs. The cupper has a square padded support and a further padded support for under the tail, both are finished in a red wool broadcloth. The tail support also has three red broadcloth flaps.
