Information

Wedgwood studied at Liverpool School of Art (1919 - 1921) and the Royal College of Art. He was a Rome Scholar in 1925 at the British School at Rome, and won the prestigious Prix de Rome in Engraving. He taught at the Liverpool Institute and the Liverpool School of Art in the 1930s. Liverpool University holds a large collection of prints by Wedgwood, the majority of which were collected by Sydney Jones, Wedgwood's patron and major benefactor of Liverpool University. Anticoli Corrado is a small town north east of Rome.
