Armlet

Armlet composed of twenty mother-of-pearl plaque beads found on the upper right forearm of a skeleton in Cemetery X at Hiw, grave X74. The beads are rectangular strips of mother-of-pearl (nacre) shell pierced at either end, threaded back together with new string in 1899.
