Arrowhead

Information
Bifacial tanged arrowhead. Light brown flint, carefully pressure flaked with a sharp point, well defined serrated edges and a tang that is now broken off.
From 'Tomb B18' that Petrie described as containing "objects of Mena, it is probable that they were tombs of his family" (Petrie 1901, p.8). Petrie goes on to describe the discovery of the flints, "some dozens of these were found in the filling of the pit. Some hundreds had, however, been already removed in the French work, though unfortunately not one of them now is to be found in the Cairo Museum" (Petrie 1901, p. 22).
