Arrowhead

Bronze arrow head from a spear (?). Corroded, with small patches of fresh corrosion, notched edges, surface dirt. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession number 152265: AVELIN HEAD Bronze, encrusted, edge eroded, leaf-shaped. 4½" long. Early, from Egypt. Purchased at Glendinnings 8 August 1932 Lot 196 (Sambon Collection). CONDITION NOTE 1998: corroded, with small patches of fresh corrosion, notched edges, surface dirt.
