Ceramic object of unknown purpose, described by John Garstang as a "staff-head? Rather like a packed apple with flattened sides, small knob on top. Moulded on to staff." Ball-shaped with flattened sides and dome shaped top with applied flattened knob. Pierced in the base with sign that it was once attached to something else. Trapped material inside rattles when moved. Marked in pencil (and blue crayon?) with the find number 354 A'07. Marked in black with John Garstang's collection number GN 165.
