Aryballos

Miniature aryballos (oil flask), with an ovoid body, a small ring base, short neck, a disk shaped top and a small handle from the shoulder to the top. The aryballos is decorated in red brown circular bands along the shoulder and the low part of the body. In the middle of the body the background is orange red and there are circular bands in thin brown as well as vertical lines with a slight tilt which have been scratched onto the surface of the vessel. The area underneath the neck has a yellowish creamy band with romvoid shaped leaves all along it. The flat shaped top has a thick brown circular band outlined by thinner red circular bands.
