Aryballos

Aryballos (perfumed oil flask) of a short globular body and a flat base, a short and thin neck. The top rim is disc shaped and there is a vertical handle from the shoulder to the top. Two red brown circular bands frame the main decoration of the body: Incised vertical double lines against a main dark brown. Teardrop lines in dark brown are in a band on the shoulder at the base of the neck. The flat top also had circular bands in dark brown but they have significantly faded. There are several abrasions along the body and small areas of the base have chipped.
