Information

Small globular aryballos (perfumed oil container), short neck and flat disc shaped rim, a very small handle from the shoulder to the rim. The decoration is of a quatrefoil all over the main body. This was an Assyrian design typical of the Early Corinthian phase and the small size of this globular aryballos indicate that it may be from the Early Corinthian phase.
