Ash Chest Lid

Gabled lid with acroteria and abstract designs in the pediment. The lid is of the ash chest 59.148.328a in the Engravings volume but not so in the Monumenta Mattheiana It was perhaps made in the 18th century for the particular chest.(Davies 2007: 131).
