Miniature axe of polished stone. MacGregor collection label stuck to the surface with red printed number 3263. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Chipped, worn, surface dirt, label adhered to surface. Purchased by Mr Wilkes for Sir Henry Wellcome at Sotheby's London, 26 June - 6 July 1922 (MacGregor collection) Lot 1108/7: "Seven others [Wedges or Model Axe-heads, in various hard stones, polished] in various stones, all interesting specimens".
