Axe

Axe-head. Worked on both surfaces to form a blade. Depression on one edge. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Notched edges, scratched, pitted. Purchased for the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum by Captain Peter Johnston-Saint from Elias Hatoun, Cairo, February 1931 "collection of 12 copper axes, knoves and other implements of the 18th Dynasty (Egyptian) £28-0-0.".
