Wedge shaped with a thick butt, end unworked, basalt (?). Broad cutting edge, well rounded. Marked in pencil "Koptos. Nagada. FCJS" and in ink "KOPTOS. F.C.J.S.".
Excavated by W. M. Flinders Petrie during the winter of 1893-1894 for the Egyptian Research Account.
