Silver amulet of Thoth in the form of a baboon, depicted seated wearing a headdress of a disc with horns and uraeus. The left horn is now missing. Pierced hoop at the back of the disc for suspension. Described by Professor Newberry (1910) as being of good technique. Collected at Qus by Revd Greville Chester in 1879.


CONDTION NOTE (2007): Good. Small spot of corrosion in one eye.
