Bangle

Large ivory bangle. Externally rectangular and internally circular. Impregnated with wax by the excavator to stengthen the material. Internal diameter 46 mm. Thought to be from grave 38 but the object is not marked. In Garstang's handwritten report there is a photograph of the bracelet on page 14 with the number K.38 '06 beside the bracelet (top left). CONDITION NOTE 1998: Surface loss, cracked, covered in wax, surface dirt.
