Barley Grain

Barley, Hordeum vulgare. There are also a few seeds of wheat identified by Riccardo Andreozzi 29 October 2021. Collected at the pyramid town of Lahun by W. M. Flinders Petrie, 1889-90. Kept within a glass test tube with cork stopper. Annotation in black on the cork by Percy Newberry: "Kahun Barley XII". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Surface dirt. Dimensions are for the container.
