Barley Grain

Barley ear, Hordeum vulgare. Collected at the pyramid town of Lahun by W. M. Flinders Petrie, 1889-90. Kept within a glass test tube with cork stopper.Annotation in black on the cork by Percy Newberry: "Kahun XII Barley". CONDITION NOTE 1998:Section broken away from ear, some damage, surface dirt. Dimensions are for the container.
