Barley Grain

Seeds of barley, Hordeum vulgare. There are also a few seeds of wheat identified by Riccardo Andreozzi 29 October 2021. Collected at Hawara by W. M. Flinders Petrie, 1889. Kept within a glass test tube with cork stopper. Annotation in black in on a piece of paper kept inside the tube by Percy Newberry: "Barley from Hawara (Ptolemaic)". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Some have a slight whitish bloom on surface. Dimensions are for the container.
