String of glass and stone beads of different colours and shapes. Excavated by Professor Flinders Petrie at the ancient town of Lahun, which flourished in the 19th and 18th centuries BC, around the pyramid complex of King Senusret II. Labelled by Flaxman Spurrell "Roman Illahun". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Surface dirt, chipped, concretions.
