Information

String of nineteen carnelian and jasper poppy head shaped beads; and small ball-shaped and disc-shaped beads of the same material. 1870s curator Charles Gatty notes on the record card ('Gatty Slip') that this was "Colquitt St. catalogue p. 17 no. 200". Originally part of a bigger string of beads put together in 1800s. Rev. Greville J . Chester separated the string apart to remove the modern forgeries.
