Beads

28 hemispherical beads and one pendant constructed of sheet gold in the shape of a simplified acorn, with “cap” worked in cross-hatching (repoussé), assembled on acquisition as a necklace. Ten of the beads have worn surfaces covered in extremely fine granulation (the technique known in Italian as 'a pulviscolo' ). The other beads are smooth, with beaded borders added at each end.
