Beads and Amulets

Mixed string of multicoloured faience disc-shaped beads; one large barrel bead of grey and white glass; four white glass imitation cowries; amulets including one of Bes and Hathor. From tomb 1638 excavated by the Egypt Exploration Society, 1925-26, and given to the East Anglia Egyptian Society in return for their subscription. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Surface dirt, discolouration to some beads, worn.
