Beer Jar

Large round-bottomed beer jar with roll rim. Red coated surface. Mended from neck to rim. The object is from tomb no. 72, a large shaft tomb that contained two chambers that had been robbed except for some pottery. In one shaft was a child burial with lots of bead and gold fish amulets now in National Museums Scotland, Edinburgh.
