Beer or Water Jar

Large sized ovoid jar with pointed base and everted rim. Marked by the excavator with the number 76 in black ink. John Garstang found over 4000 pottery containers at Beni Hasan and created a classification system for the site. This jar appears to match his 'type 13'.
