Blue glazed amulet depicting the head of the god Bes. The piece is modelled on the front and flat on the back. The god is wearing a plumed headdress consisting of eight feathers. His ears are protruded, and he has a lion's mane. Pierced through the base of the headdress for suspension. The back of the left ear is chipped. Gatty Slip (1873): Three faience heads of Bes with plumes and protruding tongue.
