Bes Amulet

Amulet in the shape of the god Bes or Pataikos, from a burial dated to the 22nd - 26th Dynasty. From tomb 1006 excavated by the Egypt Exploration Society, 1925-26, and given to the East Anglia Egyptian Society in return for their subscription. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Surface dirt, slight concretions.
