The Biography of Milarepa

A block printed Tibetan pecha or manuscript. A copy of the Biography of Milarepa by gtsang smyon he ru ka rus pa'i rgyan can [Tsang Nyon Heruka (1452-1507)]. The manuscript contains 116 folios with a line drawing of Vajradhara in the left corner and Hevajra in the right of folio 1 and Cakrasamvara in the left and Vajravarahi in the right of folio 2. The manuscript is wrapped in a yellow spotted silk cloth and supported by two large red wooden book covers. This is secured by a purple tablet woven braid with a brass clasp in the shape of a chorten.
