Black Topped Beaker

Beaker with recurved rim and narrow flat base. Handmade with polished red surface and black top. Marked in pencil with a 3 or 4 digit number. Thought to be from Naqada. Mr Timperley did acquire items that had been excavated by Prof. Flinders Petrie. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, large area missing near rim, pitted, surface loss, surface dirt, adhesive on surface.
