Black-topped red pottery jar. Ovoid shape with burnished surface. Marked in black ink 129. 

Recorded by Dr Dorothy Downes as being from "Mahasna K.129" but site K is a Dynasty 3 cemetery; Site L is a Predynastic cemetery but recorded graves numbers are 200-229. Need to consult publications of the excavations to consider where grave "129" may be.

CONDITION NOTE (1998): Previous repair, large open running crack from top to bottom, chipped and pitted, surface dirt, adhesive on surface.
