Black Topped Jar

Black topped red ware jar with wide mouth and a flat base. From Liverpool University Institute of Archaeology excavations at Kostamneh, 1906. Marked by the excavator in pencil and black ink with the find number: 168 K'06; Marked with the John Garstang's collection number in black ink: GN 341. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Two running cracks from rim, pitted, chipped, worn at base, surface dirt.
