Information

Large, slender snake, slightly flattened from the side with a broad bulbous head distinct from the narrow neck, long prehensile tail. Eastern specimens are pale brown to reddish-brown above with numerous dark blotches, sometimes in narrow crossbands, there is a western form which is cream to light reddish-brown with numerous reddish-brown crossbands. Length up to 2 m.
