Bottle

Glass bottle, similar in shape to the mercury type bottle, derives its surname from a trademark on the base of some specimens: the provincial type of Mercury with purse and sometimes a ram, a cock and a tortoise. Usually there are intials in the four corners of the square base. Low biconical shaped body with tall cylindrical neck. The rim is flat, turned in and irregular.
