Green glass bottle (unguentarium) with plant fibre around the body and base. The bottle has a globular body, indented base and a long cylindrical neck that leads into a wide, flat rim. Description by Charles Gatty: "Conical Bottle; of transparent pale green glass, with a long neck. It is wrapped round with papyrus rush, no doubt for protection. A similar bottle is engraved by Sir Gardner Wilkinson with the rush tied round it, as he remarks, 'like a modern Florence oil flask.' Theses pieces are dates by Dr. Birch at about 600 B.C."
