A small jar with two handles resembling an amphora. This shape of this bottle is sometimes called an amphoriskos (from Greek, “small amphora”) and was used for perfume or oil. Core-formed manufacture. Dark blue glass, with yellow and pale trails on the body. Two horizontal yellow and blue trails round the shoulder. Horizontal yellow trail near the base. Neck has zig-zag yellow and pale blue trails with a rim of alternating white (?) and blue. Has previously been recorded as being 19th Dynasty. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, two fragments, chipped, surface dirt, concretions.
