A small jar with two handles resembling an amphora. This shape of this bottle is sometimes called an amphoriskos (from Greek, “small amphora”) and was used for perfume or oil. Core-formed manufacture. Dark blue glass with yellow and cyan zig-zag trails on shoulder and upper and lower body. Horizontal trails above yellow and yellow/green trails below. A relief trail of yellow circles the rim, with the handles made from of blue glass, with one handle missing. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Previous repair, chipped edges, one handle missing, surface dirt.
