Bowl

An intact bowl only a small part of the rim lost. It has a high narrow foot, a wide mouth and two small triangular shaped handles, attached to the sides of the body, just below the rim. The bowl was wheel made and decorated in White Painted I type decoration: dark brown paint on a light buff clay with some small grit that was evenly fired soft and a wet smoothed self slip, most of which has fallen and was rather carelessly finished. The dark brown paint is inside and outside the rim. Dark brown medium band on the mid wall of the exterior body. Inside there is a broad band on the uppermost wall, four narrow bands on the lower wall and a central dot on the floor. The bowl had restoration in one area of its rim.
