A deep carinated bowl with a ring base of White Painted I type decoration in matt brown paint. In the interior; a broad band on the rim and on the mid wall, two narrow bands on the lower wall; an enclosed spiral on the floor with the centre lost. In the exterior of the body there is dark brown band only on the upper wall.  The area of the rim is damaged and the bowl has been repaired. It has a wavy handle that has been stuck on. The clay is coarse buff with some mixed grit and evenly fired soft. It has a well smoothed, self slipped finish.
