Coarse red pottery bowl. Not marked with an excavation find number unless beneath large 73 x 40 mm auction sticker (c.f., 1973.1.398). Same type of bowl as 1973.1.398. Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 26 June - 6 July 1922 (MacGregor Collection) Lot 1685 "A curious pottery Vase, with four cups united by a circular pipe from Professor Garstang's excavations at Esna; another of bowl shape, with eight smaller vases on the rim, 4 of which are broken , also six Saucers and two Bowls, chiefly 12th Dynasty from Esna".
