Information

Four fragments of a pink granite bowl with an inscription around the top that includes Amenhotep III’s name, found the Stone Chapel by the Desert Altars. The flat rim was inscribed and the remaining four fragments preserve the later form of the name of the Aten; the cartouche name of Amenhotep III (nb-mAat-ra); the name of the city, Akhetaten; and the last sign of the word 'nHH' followed by "King of Upper and Lower Egypt".
