Bowl

Shallow basin, thin walls, flat rim. Undecorated. Early inventory note states 'outside silvered', which can no longer be confirmed. Subsequently stripped, leaving small pits and holes in the body, and lacquered. The bronze basin is a common item in grave furnishings from the late Villanovan through the 6th 5th centuries B.C.
