Compare with Ali el-Khouli, ‘Egyptian Stone Vessels, Predynastic Period to Dynasty III: Typology and Analysis’ (Mainz, 1978) nos. 3903-3930. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Rim chipped, surface dirt, previous repair. Danson Catalogue 2 no. 264a "Alabaster bowl with incurved rim and flattened base, broken across but repaired, beautifully made of pretty stone 2 5/16 high, 2 1/4 inside and 6 7/8 wide".
