Information

A small hemispherical bowl that has a concavity in its base and two also concave horizontal lugs. The base and half of the upper interior body are in Red Polished decoration. The exterior half of the body and part of the interior are in grey black slip with a lower interior black slip and a red belt between the black and grey black area. The decoration is typical of the Early Cypriot Bronze Age when pottery was made by hand. The two coloured affect would be the result of planning in the firing process. One of the external sides of the bowl is entirely in red. There are a few long cracks running along the body of the bowl. The clay is well mixed with fine grit and straw grog, fired in medium buff.
