Shallow bowl (or dish) with a rounded base. Marked in pencil on the obverse: 24 A 06 CB (II); and on the reverse ABYDOS (24). From tomb 24 A’06 at Abydos excavated by Professor John Garstang in 1906. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Chipped, some pitting, surface dirt, residue from label, some staining, scratched.
