Bracelet

Blue faience bangle. Square section. Broken into seven pieces (two pieces mended together) with one section missing. Mounted on to fabric covered piece of wood in modern times. Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 15-17 December 1924 (Hon. Richard Bethell collection) lot 373 "A white faience Arm from inlay; Fragment of a blue Sphinx; a Bangle; a Fragment of a Boomerang, with name of AKH-EN-ATEN; etc; chiefly from Tell el-Amarna (6)". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, broken in 6 pieces, previous repair, mounted on board, pitted, surface dirt, chipped.
