A Breezy Day

This is a drawing of Mull, an island of the Inner Hebrides located just off the west coast of Scotland. It was a sketch for an illustration for the Liverpool Autumn Exhibition catalogue. There is a watercolour depicting the same view and title, 'A Breezy Day, south of Mull' also by Coutts which was sold at Bonhams (Lot 123) on 8th September 2010 (Auction 18176: Pictures, Furniture, Tribal, European & Oriental Works of Art).
