Brochure and photographs relating to Cossor Marine Radar

Items collected by Captain Edward Griffiths of Atlantic Coast, Coast Lines, relating to the first trial of a radar system for civilian vessels, the Cossor system. Two technical brochure and operating instructions plus various photos of the boat, MV Atlantic Coast, with technician and crew. The first coaster to have radar fitted experimentally in December 1945. Photographs, 15 items, are black and white and have a copyright stamp and negative number of Daily Sketch/Graphic Photo Union.
