Bronze Wire



Long length of bronze wire twisted into a curved shape. Found in a house so possibly a household item or maybe it once was part of something that served as part of a religious purpose in a domestic setting. Find number 29/72: Egypt Exploration Society 1928-9 season, from House V 36.7. Excavated by the Egypt Exploration Society in 1926. Acquired by the EES in the division of finds. Donated to the East Anglia Egyptian Society by the EES in recognition of a contribution to the EES (excavation subscription). Donated to Norwich Castle Museum. Purchased from the collections of Norwich Castle Museum in 1956 by Liverpool City Museum (now World Museum).
