One of a pair of Continental-type bronze bow brooches, the other being M7353b.  Very flat in section, with steeply bent large bow, framed by parallel grooves with double punched-dot tooling; the brooch has no headplate, just a narrowed section at the top of the bow bent under into roll to hold the remains of a spring-coil of iron. The foot is similar to the one of a cruciform brooch, but flatter in section and is decorated with groups of parallel grooves, faceting and edge-notching. The foot terminates in flat excrescence in the form of pair of incurving scrolls or beaks. The back is flat, but there are traces of solder where the catchplate was broken away, below the bow.
