Brooch

Round brooch of the type conventionally known as a 'saucer brooch'. Repousse design in the main body of the brooch: one external ring followed by a circle of repousse rays or lines, then two circular bands, in the centre a square with a circular embossed motif in the middle . The edges of the brooch are slightly bent at one point. At the back there are two hidges, the double one very rusty and the opposite one missing one side. The catchplate is missing. The brooch is the same design as M7553.
